Sacramento’s film and commercial community deserves a home.
To be seen locally and abroad.
Great work is happening in Sacramento every single day. Emerging filmmakers, active crews, agency creatives, studio producers and established professionals are building lives around the craft.
For all that creative energy, we are scattered. We know each other by credits, crews, referrals and reputation, but rarely through a shared home for the industry itself.
The House exists to change that.
The Concept
The House is a private membership club for Sacramento’s film and commercial community. It is not a coworking space. It is not another networking mixer. It is a place built around professional identity, belonging and pride in the people who make the work. Think of it as a home for the craft, where new voices, working professionals and established leaders belong because of what they contribute to the work, not the logo on their business card.
A curated community of professionals who care deeply about the craft
A place where emerging talent, working freelancers, agency teams and established producers share one local identity
Visiting filmmakers, production companies and agency teams have an entry point
A community where experience is passed forward and new voices keep the industry alive
A Place for Connection
At the center of The House is the feeling of walking into a room where the industry is already there. Coffee, conversation and chance encounters are the atmosphere, not the product. Open your laptop for a few hours, pitch a script, talk through an idea or stay for the conversation you did not expect.
A Place to Show the Work
The House includes a 30 person screening room dedicated to the community. Members can showcase finished work, test projects, host feedback sessions, run table reads, practice pitches and review portfolios and reels.
- Monthly member showcases
- Monthly emerging talent showcases with local universities
- Member-led workshops
- Work feedback sessions
- Portfolio and reel reviews
- Script and table reads
- Pitch practice sessions
- Regular community screenings
Build Something Bigger
When the people carrying an industry start seeing themselves as a community, the energy changes. Pride gets louder. Ideas sharpen. Careers gain momentum. The House connects emerging talent, working professionals and established leaders so knowledge, standards and opportunity keep moving forward. And when outside productions come looking for Sacramento, they finally have one door to walk through.

A place to find projects, crews, collaborators and referrals through people you trust

A visible hub where outside producers, agencies and visiting teams can find Sacramento’s film and commercial talent
Membership Starts With Belonging
The first step is an interest list. We are gathering the people who believe Sacramento’s film and commercial community is ready for a home of its own. The current ETA for the interest list closing date is January 1, 2027.
Membership will be application-based because the culture matters. This is for emerging professionals finding their footing, working crews building momentum and established leaders who want the next generation to inherit a stronger local industry.
Roadmap
The House starts with a signal from the community. The interest list shows who wants to belong, what disciplines are represented and how emerging, working and established professionals can form the founding circle.

Our Mission
We are building a place worthy of the talent in this city.
A place where people know your name. A place that reminds us we do not have to leave Sacramento to build a world-class career.
A healthy ecosystem needs new people entering, working professionals staying connected and established professionals passing knowledge forward. The House is built to keep that loop alive.
We are building the physical home for the future of our local industry, and the front door for outside work looking for Sacramento talent.
This is our industry. This is our city. This is The House.
If You Want the Specifics
The mission comes first. The practical pieces exist to support it: the room, the screenings, the member tools and the simple ways people can keep showing up for one another.
